High-density GPU servers with hybrid computing capabilities

The ESC8000 G4 features a powerful GPU architecture that supports up to eight high-performance NVIDIA? Quadro? or Tesla? GPU cards in a 4U chassis. With such powerful graphics capabilities, the ESC8000 G4 enables you to complete high-intensity computing tasks at a faster speed and with greater efficiency. The internal configuration is optimized so that the ESC8000 G4 can accommodate a wide variety of graphics cards, including dual-slot Gpus and equipped with active or passive heat dissipation modules.

Adjustable topology patented design

The ESC8000 G4 provides flexible system topology Settings, including the option to select single or double open composite mode (root complex), so it is suitable for deep learning needs. With the patented adjustable topology design, users can easily switch system topology without changing any hardware configuration or cable winding via the ASUS ASMB9-IKVM server management solution's user-friendly web GUI.

Scalable design suits growing workloads

The ESC8000 G4 is designed for easy scaling for growing careers and workloads. The ESC8000 G4 is equipped with eight PCIe Gen3 X16 slots for full-length GPU cards, two PCIe Gen3 X16 slots for high-speed network cards, and one internal PCIe Gen3 X8 slot for HBA/RAID cards. High density parallel computing capability is readily available.

Multiple port types, flexible storage Settings, including dual PCIe or SATA M.2, port to port Dual OCuLink with Intel VROC technology, two hot swabable 2.5-inch NVMe SSD. The ESC8000 G4 can also accommodate up to eight groups of 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbp/s HDDS or eight groups of 2.5-inch SAS 12Gbp/s HDDS with optional Hbas.

Hot insert redundant fans and dedicated air passages provide effective heat dissipation

Cooling a high-load accelerator server that consumes up to 3,200 watts of power is a daunting task, so the ESC8000 G4 is equipped with hot-insert redundant fans and dedicated air channels for cpus, Gpus, and DIMMs. Ten gPU-dedicated fans (five main fans and five standby fans), plus two CPU radiators, ensure that the heat dissipation efficiency is never interrupted, so that the server runs without stopping.

Proprietary Thermal Radar technology improves energy efficiency

The ESC8000 G4 uses ASUS proprietary Thermal Radar technology, and sets environmental sensors on the CPU, GPU, and DIMM. Ideal for high-load data centers, this design provides internal and external temperature monitoring and enables dynamic fan curve adjustment to reduce fan power consumption by 20% and reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).
