Barometric pressure sensors are used in a wide range of applications. Driven by miniaturization, low power consumption and high cost-effectiveness, MEMS barometers have been widely introduced in consumer markets such as smartphones, drones, e-cigarettes, and home appliances in recent years. In addition, in the transition to Industry 4.0 and AIoT, MEMS pressure sensors provide functions such as pressure monitoring and intelligent measurement, which also promotes the gradual transformation of the industrial market.
Barometric pressure sensors are mainly used to measure changes in air pressure. Barometric pressure sensors can be divided into three types: absolute, gauge and differential. At present, CMC can provide absolute pressure and gauge pressure type products for customers to choose.
